How it works
Menorca has two kinds of market: the weekly ones, which run all year and always on the same day, and the summer ones —night markets, the ones in the resorts and those in Fornells and Cales Fonts—, which open around June and pack up in September. One works the other way round: es Mercadal holds its market from October to May.
Opening hours are as published. A market can move if it falls on a public holiday, and the seasonal ones start and finish when each town decides. If one is missing, or a day doesn't add up, tell us.
Sources: the Ciutadella Town Council markets page for Ciutadella, and the Balearic Government's Calendari de Fires i Mercats de les Illes Balears 2026 for the rest of the island. Checked on 4 August 2026. Ciutadella isn't in the official calendar: it lists what each town council sends the Government, and councils that don't reply aren't there — which is why Ciutadella's markets come from its own council.
